12/11/2008-We are organising a short season of Saturday night Blues Suppers in the village hall at Brafield on the Green early in the new year as fund raising - more details to follow.

13/11/2008-Mitch Mitchell (drummer with The Jimi Hendrix Experience) found dead yesterday in a hotel room in Oragon,USA apparently of natural causes.

21/11/2008-Ralph McTell gig at the Royal Theatre Northampton yesterday - wonderful to hear him play a couple of numbers on a 1936National Steel guitar, one of many guitars in his collection apparently, including a Big Bill Broonsie tune.

03/12/2008-Great interview with Ginger Baker of Cream fame on Planet Rock last night - gave a real insight into the jazz/blues music scene in Soho clubs in the early 60s with references to the numerous names he worked with e.g. Alexis Korner, Chris Barber, Eric Clapton, et al.
